Will Keggie fit our space? 

Keggies measurements are 4.8 meters long, 3 meters wide and 3 meters height. Please allow yourself enough space and even flat ground is preferable.

How many taps are there? 

Keggie has the ability to pour 6 dispensing taps which can be interchangeable to pour any beverage. You do not have to use all 6 taps if you do not wish. Keggie also has a separate gravity fed 30L water tap.

What can I pour? 

Basically, anything out of a keg - the possibilities are endless. Keggies supplies offer wine, beer, cocktails and non alcoholic beverages but if you have something different that you can source we would love to help make this work for you.

Who supplies the glassware?

Keggie does! Keggie is able to supply 100 beer glasses, 50 wine glasses, 50 cocktail glasses and 6 x 1L beer jugs. anything over this will have additional charges. You are responsible for the breakages of glassware - Anything damaged will be deducted from your bond.

What happens if there is leftovers in the Keg? 

When we come and collect Keggie we can pour off any leftovers into flagons for you and your guests to enjoy at an additional charge. Otherwise, the kegs are returned to the supplier for disposable.

How far in advance do I need to book? 

Please give us enough time to get in touch with our suppliers and organize your beverages. At least 14 days' notice should be an efficient amount of time - this will also be dependent on keg availability as well.

Do we need power? 

No - Keggie can go fully off grid. Keggie is set with sufficient number of batteries and solar panels but can also be plugged into power if you wish. 

​

Does Keggie sell alcohol? 

No - Keggie does not have a liquor license, but we work closely with our suppliers who you can buy directly from. You can book your beverages through us, and you will be invoiced directly from our suppliers. The Kegs then get delivered to us so we can have Keggie all setup and ready for your event.

Do you need a liquor license? 

No - not if you are a private event or on private property, however if you are in a public space or a licensed premises you will need to check, organize and arrange with your local council or venue operator.

Can you organize your own alcohol? 

Yes - you can source your own alcohol if you wish. But you must let us know first to ensure the Kegs will work with Keggies system/setup and also the distance as well will need to collect the Kegs before you event to keep them chilled and get them set up.

How far will Keggie travel? 

Keggie loves to travel! Our bar package includes within 50km of Hamilton and any extra milage is at an additional charge. We love taking Keggie on road trips so please don't hesitate to ask if you think your event might be a bit out of reach.

Will our drinks be chilled? 

Yes - all your drinks will be served cold (apart from red wine of course). Keggie can keep your drinks chilled for days so you don't have to worry about warm alcohol! Keggie does not need the use of coolers or bulky refrigerator units which makes it capable of going off grid!

Does Keggie have a sound system? 

Yes! Keggie comes all-inclusive with a radio/Bluetooth sound system and speakers. Keggie also has a little cubby hole allowing you to charge your phones and keep them safe.
